Chandan B. Samantaray

Chandan B. Samantaray is serving as a faculty member at Virginia State University, USA. During his long research career, he has developed high-density computer memory chips including Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM), Non-volatile Memory (NVRAM), Resistive Memory (RRAM), and CMOS technology. While working with the semiconductor memory chip fabrication process on silicon wafers, he envisaged the human brain as the best computer ever and initiated research for Neuromorphic or Brain-like computing- architecture, system, and modeling. How a microchip will supervise a robot to drive a car, airplane, factory, hospitals and a lot of human operations is the key of his research for searching a complete digital-brain-in-action.
