Ipsi Ipsita Rath holds degrees in Engineering (B.E., EL&TCE – 2001, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar) and Law (L.L.B. – 2015, Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi). She worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Module Leader from March 2003 to November 2009 in leading Indian software companies. She has worked in various roles mainly in the areas of Data Warehousing and Databases. Ipsita worked as a Business Consultant during her onsite assignments in Europe. She also conducted training programs in Data Warehousing. She is a licensed member of the Odisha State Bar Council, Cuttack and at present, she works from Bhubaneswar /Cuttack in the fields of Civil, Criminal, and Cyber Law. Ipsita has received many awards and scholarships including NTSE.
Ipsita is also a writer, poet, blogger, singer, painter, and homemaker. She has published two books – (i) Miles and Memories (co-authored) and (ii) Reflections (a collection of 40 English poems) which was released by the Hon’ble Governor of Odisha. She received the 1st prize in a debate competition on Cyber Law and its Impacts, conducted by the Bhubaneswar Bar Association.
Recently Ipsita has started a music venture – “9 Gems”. It basically looks forward to reviving the old good music along with the contemporary numbers.
Ipsita is also deeply associated with numerous social causes and nation-building activities.
